Es handelt sich um eine gerahmte Urkunde. Der Text lautet: "Doppelquartett Rheingold Lippstadt. Gesang-Wettstreit 1921. Das Doppelquartett "Sangeslust" Geseke errang im Klassensingen den 3.Preis worüber diese Urkunde. Lippstadt, den 31.Juli 1921. Doppelqurtett Rheingold Das Preisrichterkollegium: I.A. [Unterschriften]".
Dekoriert ist die Urkunde mit klassizstisch-historistischen Ornamenten und Figuren in antikisierten Gewändern.
Das Geseker "Doppelquartett Sangeslust" hatte 1921 in einem Gesangs-Wettstreit in Lippstadt den 3. Preis gewonnen. Am unteren Rand befindet sich ein Streifen mit den Namen der Mitglieder des Doppelquartetts.
