Description

Kleine Porträt-Silhouette von Anna Maria Catharina Forstmann, geb. 1767 in Lohne, gest. 1800 in Soest. Unter Glas gerahmt.

Mittig ein gemaltes schwarzes Brustbild der Porträtierten in fortgeschrittenem Alter, Profil zur linken Bildseite. Erkennbar ist langes gelöstes Haar und eine voluminöse Tuchdraperie auf der Brust.
Das Porträt in einer gemalten (Gouache) floralen Einfassung: hochovaler Rahmen aus mehreren Linien, von einer filigranen Blumengirlande mit zahlreichen gefüllten Rosenblüten umrankt.

Holzrahmen: profilierte, mattschwarz lackierte Leiste mit außen ansteigender Hohlkehle; Leistenbreite ca. 1 cm. Rückseitig oben ein Metalldrahtaufhänger.
