Description

Schädelfragment eines eiszeitlichen Höhlenbären (Ursus spelaeus). Diese Bärenart der letzten Eiszeit lebte vorwiegend in Europa, sowie dem nördlichen Afrika. Der Höhlenbär starb schon vor der eigentlichen quartären Aussterbewelle am Ende der Weichsel- bzw. Würmeiszeit aus.

Fundort: Sundwig- und Warsteiner Mühle
