Description

S/W-Fotografie auf Baryt-Papier in einem grauen Passepartout aus Pappe. Abgebildet ist der Siegeslauf des Pferdes "Dolomit" beim Jubiläums-Preis in Hamburg am 26. Juni 1914 vor "Fauche le Vent". Hinter dem Zaun stehen zahllose Menschen.
Auf der Rückseite der Fotografie vermerkt der Pferdetrainer Withers McCreery mit Bleistift: "Hamburg 26th June 1914, when Dolomit won the Jubiläums Preis, he certainly did not put a stain on the Judges eye. Love W. M. June 30" 1915".
Auf der Vorderseite steht: "’Dolomit’ gewinnt den Hambuger Jubliäums-Preis gegen ’Fauche le Vent’".
