Es handelt sich um einen versteinerten Ammonit der Gattung Peroniceras subtricarinetum.
Auf der Unterseite des Objektes wurde ein Schreiben angeheftet mit Informationen zum Fund und der Schenkung an das Museum. Das Objekt wurde demnach 1976 im Steinbruch Dyckerhoff Werk II bei Geseke gefunden.
