Das Jagdhorn wurde aus Kupferblech gefertigt und ist in einem halbrunden Bogen geformt. Es handelt sich um einen sogenannten Sauerländer Halbmond. Die Metalloberflächen sind dunkel patiniert und das Horn weist eine Ziermanschette aus Messingblech auf. Die wahrscheinlich ursprünglich vorhandene eiserne Verbindungsstange ist nicht mehr vorhanden und wurde vermutlich vom Besitzer durch eine Textilkordel aus Hanf ersetzt.
