Zu sehen ist in einem ovalen Medaillon das leicht nach rechts gewandte Brustbild eines Mannes in spanischer Rüstung mit runder Halskrause und Spitzbart. In der Hand hält er einen Kommandostab. Auf einer angedeuteten Balustrade im unteren Bildteil steht die Abkürzung "Q.V.M.R.S.K." Eingerahmt wird das Porträt von einer lateinischen Umschrift „DON LVIS DE VALASCO CATHOLIC[a]E REGIS HISPANIA[rum] MAIESTATIS EXERCITV[s] VICE GENERALIS PRAEFECTVS IN FLANDRIA. ETC:“ Unter dem Bild steht in Zierschrift „DON LVIS DE VALASCO ETC.“ Unten rechts lautet die Herstellerbezeichnung "Godf. Müller exc."
