Es handelt sich um einen Steinkern einer Muschel (Inoceramus lamarcki). Sie ist ein wichtiges Leitfossil der Oberkreide neben der Inoceramus schloenbachi genannten Muschel. Diese Schichten bilden die Grundlage für die Geseker Zementindustrie. Gefunden wurde das Objekt in einem Steinbruch bei Geseke.
