Aus einem flachrechteckigen, grauen Sandstein gearbeiteter Wärmestein. Auf der Oberseite befinden sich eingemeißelte weihnachtliche Motive. Zu sehen sind rechts und links zwei symmetrisch angeordnete Tannenzweige mit Glöckchen und Schleife. Im Zentrum ist in einer Blüten-Rosette eine metallene Öse mit Griffring eingelassen. Der auf dem Ofen oder im Backofen aufgeheizte Stein wurde zum Vorwärmen des Bettes in ein Tuch geschlagen und in das Bett gelegt. [Emil Schoppmann]
