Hochformatiger Kupferstich mit Porträt des Historikers Leonhard Offerhaus (geb. 1699 in Hamm, gest. 1779 in Groningen). Halbfigur des Gelehrten in zeitgenössicher Tracht, Dreiviertelansicht nach rechts vor Bücherregal und Vorhang. Mit der rechten Hand hält der Porträtierte ein Buch auf einem Tisch aufgestellt. Das Porträt ist in einen ovalen Rahmen mit lateinischer Umschrift eingestellt. Unterhalb des ovalen Rahmens ein Sockel mit niederländischer Inschrift aus einem Vierzeiler von L. Trip. Schraffierter Hintergrund. Unterhalb des Motivs auf dem Rand Herstellerangaben und Datierungen.
