Der langgestreckte Rahmen mit halbrunden kurzen Seiten diente als Strickhilfe für Schals oder andere doppellagige oder runde Textilien. Gestrickt wurde mit Hilfe einer Häkelnadel. Der Rahmen ist aus Buchenholz gefertigt.
